In October 2023, I travelled to Cape Town to participate in a collaborative exhibition with the Desmond & Leah Tutu Foundation. This experience made me realise that the 300 years of European colonisation in Africa, along with the lingering effects of the apartheid regime, continue to impact South African
society today.
